Biography
Born in Istanbul in 1983, Ebru Çömlekçi is an actress, director, screenwriter and educator.
With an MA in Film and Drama from Kadir Has University, Ebru Çömlekçi has worked for over 21 years in performing arts, drama education and children's theatre — producing Hayaller Kumpanyası and collaborating with companies such as Tiyatro Karınca, Tiyatro Boyalı Kuş, Züyatro and Sadri Alışık Theatre as an actress, director and writer.
She writes feature and short-film screenplays, tells stories, and leads drama seminars for parents and teachers. The short film Evden Uzak, in which she appears with her daughter Masal Ebru, has received multiple international festival awards.
